That comic website should add more characters though.

Can anyone link me to a debunking of the "Tim Osman" (=Osama Bin Laden) story?

I have a better idea. Why don't you link us to a reputable source that proves there ever was a Tim Osman or Tim Ossman and that he worked for the CIA and that he was actually OBL.
And just for the sake of argument, twoofer websites, myspace, and youtube don't count at reputable sources after junior high school.
Your don't hold up a lotto ticket from across the street and yell a demand that the Lottery prove it's not the winning ticket.
They'll just laugh at you.

An interesting resource some of you may want to hear about; the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) has created an unclassified database of terrorist incidents dating from the 1970's on. Read the article here:
http://www.livescience.com/
histo...m_database.html
And view the database here:
http://www.start.umd.edu/data/gtd/
From what little I've seen of it so far, it's quite expansive and shows the increase in terrorist acts over the years. I found it quite informative.

I think the Osman story is crap. I'm just looking for a debunking of it. Surely someone has done it already?

Ask yourself this, a guy runs up to you and says he just saw a flying saucer land and take off.
Where, you ask.
Over behind the Wal-Mart, he replies.
So you both walk over behind the Wal-Mart and there's nothing and nobody there.
The guy points to a depression in the crabgrass and says that's where the landing gear rested.
It looks like flattened crabgrass. Maybe somebody had set a garbage can on the spot and removed it later on.
The only way to debunk any claim for which there is no real evidence is to say, there's no extraordinary evidence for the extraordinary claim, and move on.
you heard it here last |

Still looking for someone to help you prove a "negative" when there's no evidence for the "positive" to begin with?

I know its ridiculous, i can barely figure out what the claim is to debunk it.

There's this document which is all I have ever found.
Anyway all I'm asking is if anyone has ever looked into it or seen it debunked. If you think its stupid and not worth looking at, fine, I am just asking.

And that "document" is what?
A. A prop Robert DeNiro handed Matt Damon when filming ,"The Good Shepherd" began.
B. Secret document cobbled together by this guy:

politicalhu...wtctourist1.jpg
C. Tom Flocco's secret agenda decoder agenda item designed to hide the fact Ossama Bin Laden's CIA code name was Tom Flocco.

Tom Flocco is the wooist of the woo. This is the guy who claimed that Barbara Olson was arrested on the Polish Austrian border with millions in counterfeit Lira after all.
It is nice to see they mention Wanta at least. Although they could learn to spell "strela" correctly.

Pepik, try the search engine on the right sidebar above "Previous Posts"; you'll find that 9-11 Myths has covered the Osman claim.

Thanks Pat, that's what I was looking for, must have missed it at 911 myths when I looked before.

tim...bin_ladin_.html
It would be interesting only in the sense that it showed equipment going directly to OBL (there weren't supposed to be any direct links), but other than that I can't see much in it.
And of course the reliability of the document is zero. Every once in a while I get red herrings like this in troof forums, you'd never imagine the source could be this low quality but of course it definitely can.

Not that it changes anything I said, but I'd also missed that citation before.
I'd never used the search engine here before, it's pretty excellent.

I found a Tim Assman if that helps. He looks kinda like OBL too, if you added a beard, photoshopped his skin colour, and removed the hat. I think I might be onto something here...
