Blenderhead, the "hit piece" on Glenn Greenwald is true. Glenn was caught posting comments on many blogs about the wonderful and brilliant Glenn Greenwald, under several different pseudonyms. When caught (the posts included IP addresses) Greenwald claimed that it must have been his boyfriend who did it, although the comments used some telltale phrases that Greenwald loves to use. No one has offered legal proof he's lying.
At this point it's just speculation by non-lawyers in a non-legal context. It's all personal opinion in subjective context. No one has cited any factual records in the matter or sworn any legal oaths.
That former Soviet slaves like yourself obviously can't tell the difference between some on-line opinionating and standards of evidence is as good an example of why tolerance triumphs over totalitarianism as there is usually found in on-line posts.

I know I shouldn't reply, but...
The USSR was a system based on state ownership, administrative planning and a centralised economy. Not to mention the KGB, gulags and a fucking big wall, barbed wire and armed guards to keep the population in.

Consolidation of corporate influence on state power in the US is pushing it towards an arrangement similar to the Soviet one. As for the rest of your argument, KGB=DHS+FBI, the Gulag is alive and well in America with 2+ million people in jail (mostly for non-violent non-offenses such as selling drugs), and not to worry - there's plenty of armed guards in the US, same for the barbed wire, and various anti-terror provisions make it entirely possible to shut the borders almost at a moment's notice (not completely, of course, but the Soviet borders were never perfectly airtight either). So, while differences are still profound between the two systems, there are also equally profound similarities.
