I think you're right. I've noticed that people who lack maturity have more need to make a show of it. Still annoying though. :-p

Illusions of maturity mean little. If you know what maturity is, you ought to have little problem being silly because you aren't so worried about letting your guard down. Wait, that made no sense. Okay, here it is: if you *are* mature, you don't have to worry about *appearing* mature.

I think it takes sense to know that when there's no need for grave seriousness, silliness is healthy for you.

Gravatar This may sound corny, but don't ever stop being who you are, and don't ever think that you have to adopt attitudes of others "just because". We all need an inner child. I finally released mine from its confines last year because I left the hell hole (Hey! The count down is FINISHED!) and I'm a better person because of it. It's hard to find individuality in a place with no individuals. I know that my school is a place where if you aren't wearing the top brands or you aren't cookie cutter, you don't have a place. Me, I'm one of those irregular cookies that got miscut, but I'm happier for it. I can bum around in my no-name jeans and t-shirt and stick out like a sore thumb, but to hell with them all. To hell with conformity. The fact that you've managed to stay YOU is what I admire the most. :-)
