Heh. Drill and basic marching are different, though. With drill you can remember what happens next; with basic marching you have to wait and listen. I don't know why I find remembering easier than listening. Perhaps it's that it allows you to fall into a pattern.
But yes, when the drill ends, that causes trouble too. ;-)
I thought the problem was when the drill ended!
