I too have been going through CDs like candy, and if I plan on going to Mexico (I am now registered for Archeo) I had better start saving money. Unfortunately I still have several albums on the "must buy" list.
In my very short experience at WRCU, the hunger for new music is worsened by having a show. Then you have access to more music, but just hearing it once a week won't be enough, and you'll find you have to go out and buy the CDs. Sure you can request songs, but soon you'll want to hear more of the album than you can ever hope to hear over the air in any short period of time, so you'll have to buy it on your own. And because it takes a lot of music to fill a two hour slot, you'll hear a lot of new music. Not to mention the fact that new music is always coming in.... AUGH!! Its a good thing I don't need to spend money on more than CDs and food, because I'd never have any hope of affording Mexico (if I even decide to go; I have to decide by next monday for certain. AUGH!!!!!!)
