My prayers unite with Alicia's, and I'll bet there are countless unseen others - a multitude - whose intercessory utterances sing in unison for your needs...and for your return here. God bless you, Dylan.

Hi, gang. I just spoke to him on the phone: he's back in the hospital (probably for quite awhile), but doing OK. Keep him in prayer! He misses the blog, and was very pleased to hear that you all had been asking about him.
E-mail me again with funny witticisms, boservations, OBservations(!), psalms, essay excerpts, etc.

You are sorely missed Dylan and I have held you close to my heart in prayer over these last few weeks when I myself have been struggling so...praying for your return and complete healing have been an oasis for my own suffering. God bless and keep you close Dylan!

Yi, dunno if you'll see this, but know that I also will be praying for you. Thanks so much for this dark/light corner of the 'sphere. (OK, spheres don't have corners, I realize...) I hope you are back and on the attack soon. Take care--

To all Bloggers:
Dylan has been transfered to a different hospital.Will be there untill December. He has along road ahead....I tell him I check the "E" on line. He misses everyone, You are like his extentened family.
Don't give up on him. By the end of the year. You will hear fromhim.
He appreciates all the prayers(which he needs desperatly) all the thoughfull wishes also.
Reminded him that on August 29th there was a Mass said for him in Colordo... He finally has our Parish Priest coming once a month for visits.
You cannot believe that in these two major hospitals there is no spiritual guidance....
Dylan(Tom) and his mom thanks everyone and God Bless you all.

Thanks for the update... I am surprised hospitals in Mass., a heavily Catholic state, are so spiritually tone-deaf.
Dylan's forgotten more poetry than I know, so I 'spect he's read the following, but I just encountered it:
THE DAWNING
Awake, sad heart, whom sorrow ever drowns;
Take up thine eyes, which feed on earth;
Unfold thy forehead, gathered into frowns;
Thy Saviour comes, and with Him mirth.
Awake, Awake, and with a thankful heart His comforts take;
But thou dost still lament, and pine, and cry,
And feel His death, but not His victory.
Arise, sad heart, if thou dost not withstand,
Christ's resurrection thine may be;
Do not by hanging down break from the hand Which, as it riseth, raiseth thee.
Arise, Arise, and with His burial linen drie thine eyes.
Christ left His grave-clothes, that we might, when grief draws tears of blood, not want a handkerchief.

Thank you, TS, for that lovely Herbert poem, and thank you all for your warm wishes and many other kindnesses! Don't know when I'll be online again, but just wanted to take this opportunity to render gratitude & to ask for continuing prayer.
