I was first introduced to the "sequence of signals" back in the mid 60's in the second floor restroom of the U. of Houston library. BTW, that same restroom is still a "hot spot" described on the same blogs that also listed the Minneapolis Airport as "THE" place. So after 40 years, the SAME restroom is still active!

Timmy, I've known about Harriet Craig's "signals" since I was 12 or 13 years old (we progressed quickly growing up in LA!) and EVERYTHING he did, was indeed signaling for sex. From his conversations I know what a hassle you are currently going through, and I admire your decision to do it "from scratch" as it were, and send you lots of sympathy and the message that it DOES get better! Were there gay people in the 1950's? Another "hot spot" on campus was the old ROTC building and the basement restroom of the Optometry Building, that was according to what was written on stall walls about where to go and sometimes "when".

I think some of the toilet trolls were not students but then U of Houston had many older students.
