on a vaguely related note -- the day i had to fly out of boston logan, one of the two security teams for terminal B (my terminal) didn't show up for work. the result was a violenet, angry mob of people who were NOT waiting in line and missing their flights.

there's just nothing good to be said for airports. nothing.
