For those who are already in oversea and live comfortably. There is no reason for you to come back to Malaysia. Life in Malaysia is getting tougher each day.

Frankly, as a Chinese, I don't see there is any future for our next generation.

Another dangerous mentor that people always use is JFK "Don't ask what the country can do for you, ask what you can do for the country".

Is sound nice, but isn't how German Nazi and Japan militarism start the world war using the same mentor? Under the great "ask what you can do for the country".

Patriotism? Yes, I understand how you feel. Your love for the country was spoilt by the political party. Since non-malays will always be a second class citizen, so you are probably the same in any other countries, if not better.

You get cannibalised by your own countrymen, intellectually and professionally.

As someone else advised, be a Global citizen.

Patriotism does not need you to be in Malaysia to work your due. Let no one pointed at you and say you are a traitor if your true intention is to generate good deeds for Malaysia wherever you are.

Save your time about coming back to Malaysia. Nothing will change in Malaysia. At least not even in this lifetime. Racism will still be here to stay, and also everything else.

I think there is such an entrenched discrimination against the Chinese and Indians in Malaysia, that it will take probably a whole generation to undo the damaged.

This is happening in whole spectrum of the Malaysian government, civil service, state governments and universities. Just look at percentage of malays in all these government bodies - 98%……….

A whole generation of malays has been brought up to think that it's their inherited right to own Malaysia. The other races are damned.

I think the malays especially those in power, are scared right now that if they will to compete openly with other races, they will surely be the loser. You will see very strong resistance to hire other races even the most qualified.

The malays are never brought up to compete on even ground. This is fault of previous PM and now the present PM has to tread a balance ground to ensure the malays are not cast away as well as to make Malaysia competitive worldwide.

In US I never met a malay immigrant, though there are thousands of Malaysian Chinese and Indian immigrants. Why? Malays in Malaysia have an easier life where they are literately prince of the land.

We have infrastructure good enough to be considered first world or better. Look at the Cyberjaya, Petronas Twin Towers, Putrajaya?

Gleaming high-rise buildings but also in every city, dirty toilets abound, litter clogging up the drains, public telephones damaged, plus unreliable rubbish collection and disposal. We just treat public facilities badly, not caring about others.

Being an urban dweller myself, I am constantly disheartened by the poor public infrastructure and upkeep in our capital city.

Faulty pedestrian traffic signals, illogical positioning of bus stops, poor public cleanliness, poor quality sidewalks (which are paved using slippery tiles), un-integrated and poorly managed public transportation system, the list goes on.

Your children can't even walk safely along the Kuala Lumpur streets, as they might be bags snatched, kidnapped, murdered, raped, or robbed, as they do not know the jungle laws of Malaysia. The police won't help much as they now have a big pile of corruption cases running after them.

You owe nothing to Malaysia, you pay your due, so live on.

So, my last advice. Don't come back unless you are really suffering in oversea.

I was studied in Melbourne Australia for 2 years, I met a lot of Malaysians who had emigrated to the country, some of them work in big company such as Nissan, NEC, etc, some of them open restaurants (there are Malaysian restaurants everywhere in Australia), and their life is good and fairly treated by the locals.

In Melbourne, a lot of Malaysians (99% Chinese) live in a suburbs, most of them send their kids to local school, and all have no problem on their race and nationality because besides Malaysian, there are also a lot of Indonesian, Japanese, Singaporean, Turkish, Vietnamese, etc. They can learn their own language without any restriction from the authorities. And everyone is compete on level playing field, everything is based on merit.

The living environment there is very nice, clean air and water (water can directly drink from tap), nicely built roads and residential area, almost perfect mass transit system (although I feel that Singapore is better) where you can live and travel easily without own car. Living cost there is relatively cheaper compare to KL (dollar to dollar).

The main reason for this migration is that some of them felt that they were second-class citizens (the Chinese) and third-class citizens (the Indians) in the country that they were born in. The high cost of living and non-support from the government have also resulted in smaller families among the non-malays.

For those who ran away or are thinking about running, my best wishes to you. But for the others who stand and fight, my respect for you.

Fair and equitable distribution of the prosperity that we enjoy in this country will ensure that our peace and harmony survives. That would probably require a mindset shift within our society.

However, many have experienced frustration under the Malaysian politico-social system, which has failed to recognise their contributions and skills, or ignored utilising them appropriately for the national benefit, or stymied their business ventures. Many of these people have migrated to another country where they hope to be more appreciated and where their children may enjoy a better chance of succeeding in life.

We should resolve why the Chinese-Malaysian population is reducing. Official figures have more than one million Chinese Malaysians emigrating over the past 25 years. Why did they emigrate? I am sure the government knows.

While we push young talented people away, other countries notably Singapore, the US and Australia welcome them with open arms.

About 30 percent of top management in both Singapore's government and corporate sector are ex-Malaysians. We export them so that Singapore can compete with, and then whack us.

What I do know is that with so-called special rights, Malaysia lost a lot of talented brains. Those well-off enough go overseas to study and stay there. The rest just make do. Some turn out to be big and successful businessmen. The rest may be on smaller scale but beside business, what can they do?

With many families who had moved to a country that outwardly displays basic rights, it would be wiser the families who're still in Malaysia can really push themselves to get settled in Australia, from been regarded as second class citizens. With so many who had already established, and became citizens of Australia, in all fairness they must pull the stranded families from the clutches of the evil and bigoted malay government.

It's pleasing to the hearts and souls to see success stories in this board, and hope many more can get out from the horrible and nightmarish daily events anyone have to go through been in Malaysia, that regards its other citizens as unimportant and not part of the fabric.

Once again success comes from hard work and determination, and I know everyone has to go through to get the rewards, but in Malaysia there's no such thing for any to be successful from determination, because it only favors one race and no one else.

No matter how many times you tell your encounter abroad, they would just turn a deaf ear, continuing to practise their racial discriminatory policy.

They are just like robbers. Time after time they'd said if you don't give us what we want, violence is the only answer.

Regretfully, there is no such thing as a free lunch in the real world. Whilst someone has to pay for it in the interim, everyone has to pay for it in the end.

Next election will not make much difference too, perhaps also all elections in future. The BN will continue to hold two-third majority since all mainstream media controlled by them; and also election commission is virtually on their side.

The majority malay will mostly vote for BN so that their crutches can be solid.

The Indians can't change the direction of the votes; hence they will follow the majority; otherwise Samy also cannot save them if they vote for opposition.

The Chinese will be threatened with 513 again and subsequently majority will vote for BN, for peace and security.

So you can see, Bolehland is no more hope. The corrupt ones will continue hang on to their positions until some foreigners come here and re-colonise again, only then hope will emerge.

Pak Lah is strong in making empty can promises. He is weak in implementation of empty can promises. What is it to implement - it is empty.

Perhaps it is orchestra to show that the government still has some sense of humour.

Whether Pak Lah is weak, strong, sterile or impotent, he got to go. Do not waste too much of Malaysians time. We have not many left.

If Pak Lah is in European countries, Japan or the US, or even other advanced countries, a non-confidence motion had long time tabled against him. He is lucky to be hiding in Bolehland.

The prime minister leadership is weak and the clear evidence is rather simple: when we have so much challenges like the budget deficit, falling investment, poor education standards etc, the issues that has been brought the most attention are very fundamental issues like separation of powers, religion and state power, police power, the NEP, our constitutionals inconsistencies, etc.

In a nearly 50 years old country we are still struggling with our goals and direction as a nation, rather than deal with real implementation of programs.

Anyone can always hold on to power with overwhelming advantage, but if leaders postpone decisions often enough, it comes back to haunt us all even worst in the end.

Any resolution for the country would be mere wishful thinking.

Change is gradual and if at all the country was progressing in the right direction, we could have seen it happening. But what we see is the country heading downhill on all fronts - economy, education, governance, honesty, integrity, inter-religion/racial harmony, judiciary, morality……….infinitum.

I just can't see any light at the end of the Malaysian tunnel!

It is better that you leave Malaysia. This country is full of crap. Everything is crap here. There is racism and lots of red tape bureaucracy. Malaysia don't practise meritocracy.

If a bumi is not even capable in comparison with a Chinese or Indians, he will still get all the goodies and left the shit to the other races. I advise the government not to help the stupid bumis but to give equal rights to everyone and also judge a person based on his merits and not his background or race.

If the government continues to help those incapable bumis and not cutting those red tapes, I think Malaysia will not meet its 2020 vision. Also my advise to those bumis: To the Hell with you!!!

There has been a survey done to investigate whether Chinese, Indians and Malays are hardworking. They found out that malays are the ones to be lazy. Lazier than Chinese and Indians. They do not have the motivation to strive harder.

Most of Malaysia's success come from the hard work of other races while the malays just reaped the fruits that the Chinese and Indians sowed. The Malaysian government know about this fact and that's how they implemented to protect those bumis from lagging behind the other races.

If you agreed with what I had said, you know that this is making sense. However if you disagree on my views, here is 2 possibilities ---

(1) you are a bumi that is receiving help from the government and hence you don't make any contribution to the society.

(2) you are a corrupted, biased person that is easily influenced, just like our police force. Think about it.

The damage has been done. As long as the culprit still has the power to rule the country, there are no second thoughts of returning back here. For vacations maybe, but even that will be full with hesitations.

To be honest, if dissatisfied people in this country have sufficient financial terms and non heavy commitments, I can bet every single one of them would have left this cursed land long time ago.

I just wonder if all the non-malays are financially independent and just stayed at home enjoying life. The country under the "supreme" ruling of the malays and the outdated worthless NEP system, will crush itself like a 500 pound bitch humping on an dying 100 years old guy.



Soon, the globe will be spread with Chinese!
They will be the ones who contribute to the progress of the host country.

Malaysia has the misfortune of being ruled by Muslims, hence their intolerant attitude to you non-malays.

It was the Chinese and Indian minorities that have begun to lift Malaysia out of third world poverty, and those malay bastards should be grateful to them for this but like I said before, that is too much to ask from a Muslim.

Malaysia is a xenophobic country - the bitter truth is that malays are afraid of competition from other races - they are indeed lazy and want everything for free.

If Malaysia is to divide into two countries with malays taking the east and the west to the Chinese and the Indians - watch the malays starting to migrate to the west illegally for a better future.

It is no wonder Singapore is a country which is 50 years ahead of Malaysia. Malays are fool racists indeed.

The writer reader should know that most of non-malay community realised what the government have done to them is unforgiven.

If we still depending on government we won't be in top positions in overseas, for example (76% in NASA is Indians), two-thirds of the community of practicing doctors in Singapore is Malaysian Chinese.

We (non-malay community) have been proven our intelligence around the world but not in Malaysia. So what we have do just emigrate or use Malaysia as an investment base.

Actually we (non-malays) should know that government will never change their policies unless there is a protest, here we don't do that……….That is the problem - anything the government says we just simply raise the Barisan flag.

It will be good idea if we emigrate, like one say in English, 'Where is a will, there is a way.'

But always remember the 'will' for non-malays is not in Malaysia.
