Mr. Cella, Your very modest propsals echo those of our friend Larry Auster on the subject. While they are intrinsically right, the underlying problem remains in our own society - the deadly cancer of liberalism.
Just in the past 10 days, we witnessed an ostensibly conservative President pulling out the race card from the bottom of the deck to use against abyone who dared to question the propriety of granting a state-owned corporate entity from a country which bankrolled Al Quaeda access to operation and security details of ports on the Eastern seaboard of the USA. The usual Republican apparatchiki faithfully followed suit - charging anyone who questioned this typical Bush family crony-capitalist scam with the unforgiveable crime of "racism", in the classic manner of Marxists everywhere.
In order to even have a real debate, we must reject all liberalism. The notion that all nations and cultures are simply arbitrary collections of essentially identical individual drones with the same basic desires has to be rejected. The Muslims will never be the same as us as long as they seriously practice their religion - which advocates the violent conquest and subjegation of the entire planet.
Worse than the Muslims are the western liberals, whose entire ethos is one of suicide and nihilism (the left) or power-grabbing treasonous opportunism (globalist neo-Jacobins like Bush and Blair) in the midst of Western self-destruction. They are the greater and far more dangerous enemy, who must be discredited, denounced, opposed, undermined, and destroyed completely. These traitors are the most utterly loathsome and reprehsensible of all, and deserve zero mercy.
Cicero summed them up splendidly 2000 years ago:
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But, it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But, the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government, itself."
Big hat tip to Carl, The first and primary enemy is the one within your gates. Sadly persuasion doesn't work,liberals are never wrong, and we're left with endless argument over disposeable facts and bogeymen like "racism'. Another 9/11 is the only thing that will cause the termites to crawl back into the woodwork. For how long we don't know. Mr Cella's post is eminently on the mark; in a nutshell, if you're a muslim keep your head down, your hands clean, and you're mouth shut. We are operating under a virtual declaration of war and if this is asking too much we may remind ourselves of the Japanese/American internment or sustained martial law in Hawaii. I do think Europe is ripe, or soon will be, for the sort of action mentioned here.
