A thought.
JPII warned us of the culture of Death.
The primary early example is the Holocaust.
The “cultural left” has been pushing a number of projects that (population reduction, euthanasia, abortion, among others) that are products of this culture.
Is it possible that there is an overlap between those who promote the culture of death and those who say we should stop teaching about it to “avoid offending the Moslems?”
If the culture of death makes more advances, the example of the holocaust is forgotten, and the Moslems do not integrate in to the multicultural ideal, might the Moslems be next in line?

It's an "Eat drink and be merry" approach and one wonders if many "leaders" have decided that there is no real future with all things in flux and , to get their time in, they have taken the course of appeasement. With no absolutes, they are willing to be blown in every direction by every wind that blows.

I am the son of a survivor, and the only solution is to turn Iran and Syria into 50,000 hole golf courses. Also, we should print as many offensive cartoons as possible and offend everybody. I am offended by 9/11 and the Holocaust. Either we hit back hard using force and satire, or we join the Caliphate that now stretches from the Middle East to Minneapolis.
