It's not uncommon for teams at MS to see cool movies at special showings during the day. It's a movie that people will probably see more than once, though, so I'm sure you have viewing companions.

Though it's not on the east side, I think the Cinerama is the best place to go. Will you instigate a group?

I was hoping to get MSFT to rent a theatre for the developer division (which includes your group btw).

I'm also hoping to do a get together the night before to make sure people on my team have seen the original one. I was stunned when I joined MSFT that there were people on my team who hadn't seen the original.

too soon to pick an exact showtime, since the cinerama doesn't have them listed yet. (I really dig that theater.) Lots of gathering places nearby -- westlake mall food court is a very flexible choice.

Just to verify -- the current plan of record is to get a group together on May 15th @ 8 or 9PM @ Cinerama -- is that correct? Count me in. It's a bit of a drive for me, but Cinerama's a nice Seattle pop-culture experience and there are great restaurants nearby so Matrix is as good an excuse as any.
