Funny, I think his blog is a waste. Information like his should be on official Microsoft sources like the .NET Framework documentation or on MSDN not on some guys blog regardless of how hyped blogs are today. I work in the Belly of the Beast and realize that the entire system is against us producing good docs and the entire point of my taking over the Extreme XML column was MSDN was me trying to do my part to change that. The MSDN content is read by thousands of people, shipped all over the world and translated. I've had articles I've written on MSDN translated to French, Polish, Chinese and Spanish for our developers. I've had developer friends in Nigeria comment about my articles because they shipped on the MSDN CD. That's the kind of audience Chris should be trying to reach with his content.

I mean seriously, how many people are reading Chris'blog? I'd be surprised if the number was more than 4 digits and would expect it to be in the high 3's. If he posted his stuff on official channels te amount of people who would have access to it would increase by an order of magnitude IMHO.

His blog is one of the things that bothers me about the whole blog-mania now enveloping the B0rg Central.

The only thing that gives me hope is that many people are moving to using Google for their documentation needs and once his PageRank gets high more of our users will be able to find such important fundamental information about the CLR.
