Gravatar Ah. And in my case, though believe me, ambiguity doesn't BEGIN to label me, I will admit -- I find the pamphlet both painful AND funny, because -- well, cause I'm like that.

Their Girl on the Left is just the darlingest thing, though.

Much more interesting the square dancing girl on the right.

Sorry I hit you on THE day you had to wear a dress.

But I could NOT let that pamphlet go by. Had no time to post. Had to post.

Appalling.

Gravatar I love that this current entry immediately follows an entry featuring a detailed recipe. If you don't pass, then there's no hope for any of us.
And, how does one sit if not butt-first?

Gravatar Yeah, I'd totally be friends with the girl on the left too. The girl on the right is a passive-agressive little twit, you just KNOW it. And I can absolutely see the silliness of it, but I can also imagine being in high school, getting that booklet, and thinking that I'll never, ever have a boyfriend, if all the other girls had enough free time to pay attention to the angle of their feet.

Nik--go check the link, I can't really explain the proper way to sit except that I just tried, and it's physically impossible.

Gravatar Oh, and I realized maybe I should have 2 more sentences of backstory, here, though I think I've posted about this at some point: When I was little, until boobs heartily disproved my theory, I was pretty convinced I was going to turn into a boy. I saw something about intersexed individuals on Donahue in third grade or so, and I figured that explained me not liking makeup. That's what I mean by the "gender bendfulness".

I should probably just add this to the entry, but I go off on enough tangents without adding any in after I've posted.

Gravatar Anyone know what happened to Jon Jon? Rather worried here.

Best,
Zenclear

Gravatar I don't want to speak for John, but you shouldn't worry. He's just fine. I think he's going through a change. I guess we'll see. He's out of town for the weekend, so don't expect any returned emails in the immediate future.

Gravatar oh thanks. not sure if it was real stuff or fictional construct.

Gravatar It's never safe to draw a distinction when it comes to John. It's part of his charm.

Gravatar I have no clue what the story is--I sent him an email, though. By the way, John, if you're reading this--I sent you an email.
