If it was more of an Irish pub, most of the George Fox faculty and students who currently patronize the place may no longer feel comfortable meeting there.

Does that say something about George Fox, or Irish pubs? Besides, its not the beer that makes pubs such a wonderful "place", but the ambiance and community. Maybe this is an American flaw.
