Didn't read the related article, but I wonder about the popularity of Kinkade's stuff too. After awhile, they all look alike to me. I heard a story that this "painter of light" paints the "light" part and then a team of artists finishes the work according to his instructions. (you could really crank 'em out that way, couldn't you?) This could have been slander by someone who wants to make him look bad. However, I still can't see having one of those paintings in my house. Oh well, to each his own. My ex-husband loved the poker-playing dogs.
