Hi gypsyrob. hope you have fun on Monday, Wednesday was a 14 hour day! (great for over time!) The cast and crew on this one are great, all very friendly. Are you from Victoria as well? I am also excited to be an extra on X-men 3 on Saturday which is also filming here.

Hi Jaycine, and Sonia. We just had one scene where we walked past Patricia on a sidewalk. She sure is petite and pretty. She appears to be very nice although I didn't get to talk to her. Looks like a good movie.

Had fun on Wednesday when they filmed at our vineyard. Met lots of great people and had a day of entertainment! Saw Patricia and Vincent but did not have a chance to meet them... Just some phot's from a roof as the sound guy wired them up. Not very special

I'm so glad will be seeing Patty in a romantic movie with hunk Vincent Spano. After reading the storyline,I think this one can't miss. I'll be watching up close with my 52".

Chriss. Do a google search for "background talent agent". Find one in your area and contact them. They are always looking for people because most cannot afford to sit around all day &/or night at $10 an hour waiting for their scene to happen.
i am also awaiting the release of this movie. but i do wish that patty would find a good sitcom and be done with it. instead of doing a thousand things ie: producing, directing, writing, before she loses her husband, she seems a litte drunk with ambition. joaniek
Well, this is a very cool discovery indeed - I mean finding the background for this story. I just got cast as an extra in this movie, an Italian mandolin player in a quartet, and had no idea what the story was. Why it is a treat to find out about the story is the fact that I was born in California's wine country, Sonoma County, where I learned to play mandolin and had an abundance of Italian friends. So...next week I'll have the added pleasure of knowing I'm playing my way back home! And - is it a taboo on this website to admit that I'd love to have the pleasure of meeting Lainie Kazan? Well...there, I said it!

Hi there. I was the Italian script translator to the actors(feeding them their Italian lines on set) and the Italian singing coach to Lanie Kazan. I was then called to play a principal role as the singer for their last night dinner party. I had dinner with most of them and Patricia's children. Patricia is very beautiful and extremely tiny. Lanie Kazan is incredibly funny.
It was great fun.

Sure! It was fun!!! All over Vancouver Island. food was great. The makeup artists and hairstylists along with wardrobe people(all Canadian) were incredible. The actors were not the stereotype snobby actors. They were very gracious. I would love to see the movie in Canada. My sister lives in Idaho, I'll ask her to tape it for me.

I think the Engagement Ring was outstanding......My wife and I enjoyed the movie very much......We celebrated our 30th wedding aniversery yesterday and I can proudly say I have been married to Paterica's on and off screen twin. The most wonderful and energetic lady on the planet.
My wife and I also watched "The Engagement Ring" together and enjoyed it very much. As native Northern Californians we were pleased at the "local" angle, (even if the Napa shooting was limited to 2 days) and as Patty has cited in news interviews, the scope of this story was unusually life affirming and different from the rehashed cops and hospitals fare fed daily on TV. As a Hallmark program, it was right on the mark as today's "quality entertainment."
I thought the casting of Lainie Kazan and Tony Lo Bianco was dynamite, and yet my main criticism is that Ms. Kazan looks at least ten years younger than the 65-year old woman she played; and still that's her age! Vincent Spano opposite Ms. Heaton proved a delight; great chemistry.
A quality program, with witty repartee: Hey--how about a sequel!
This is the best movie I have seen in a long, long time !!! The casting was sensational, as was the script and location. I cannot say enough about the supurbness of this production. I have watched every showing of this film. Kudos to the entire cast for giving us a beautiful, heartwarming, romantic, fun-loving, picture...nothing will beat this for a long time !!!!
This movie rocks!! Ms. Heaton - one of you best performances ever! I will keep this movie in my heart always. Love ya!!

I was in Duncan the Day they did the shoot with the horses. It was exciting and fun to be able to participate in a small way. I know the owners of the horses and myself would really like to have a copy of this movie for viewing. We have tried other sources and have failed. Can anyone help out? The movie will be available on DVD, this summer, hopefully so hang in there. There are some copies which are being sold on ebay currently but they are a rough cut of the movie, and besides that they are being sold for high prices. My suggestion is to wait until the DVD comes out. Let's hope they'll include some extra material in it too.The movie was quite delightful.

This movie isn't played enough on TNT!! This movie isn't coming out soon enough!!! I've already started a list with names to give this AWESOME movie as gifts. According to TNT, their movies come out 6 mos to 1 year after air date. Hopefully it will be out before Christmas...2007!!! I hope not!!!
