Never owned a cat, but my friend did that once. And only once. The cat was not happy and the house took the brunt of it.

We've left our 3 cats on their own for a week before.
Just leave them with lots of food, a bucket of water, and fresh litter in the pan, they're fine.
In my bachelor days, I only had one cat, and I had no qualms about abandoning him for days at a stretch. On the other hand, he always was a low-energy kinda animal anyway, so not likely to get nuts.

With Stella, you might want to at least mark the booze bottles before you go. Can't trust a cat with a drinkin' habit

I'd babysit if I was here. I love Stella!
BTW, I got drunk at our teambuilding! Goodtimes! I bowl better after several Smirnoffs. L was even there and had me rolling the whole time.
And for the record, I bowled well and only fell once because I was racing to the lane against another person!

Good call Harvey, I was just thinking we need to lock the liquor cabinet before we leave. Then again, we could just send her to rehab for the week

Wear the mask on the plane next time. Of course, if you're arrested by some Air Marshall for scaring the passengers, don't come crying to me. heh
Cats. A week? I don;t care how wonderful the cat litter you select SAYS it is in dealing with odor, you're gonna regret it.
Harvey, of course your three cats alone for a week didn't cause el stencho problemo. Right. Have you seen a doctor about your olfactory atrophy?

I'm with David on this one. I think Stella the nutball would tear the joint up. Not sure how to proceed, I had a co-worker offer to cat sit but I'm not sure I'm cool with that...
