If you need to get cold medicine be sure to have your drivers license with you.
In Michigan Cold Med's are not stocked on the shelves any more, you take a card and go to the pharmacy to get the product and they check to make sure your of legal age and your only allowed 2 boxes.
I'll remember that Machelle, Thanks. If I were in Michigan, I could bypass the medicine aisle and head straight for the liquor aisle. I always liked that about Michigan...you can pick up a dozen eggs, box of cereal and a fifth of Jack Daniels all in one spot.

Spurs, the alcohol laws in different states amazes me.
In Philly last year on vacation we were floored that you couldn't go to 7-11 and get alcohol.
They have alcohol stores, that close way to early if you ask me. And the only place you can buy beer is in a bar. It was so strange going into a bar and ordering a 6 pack to go.
I guess we are spoiled in Michigan, or just alcoholics! Hell we even can buy alcohol on sundays (after noon)
I know...I know...I miss it dearly. Here in TLTTF you can only purchase alcohol in a certain area called "the strip". You can't buy it in any store or quick stop. It's crazy I tell ya.
