Maybe I'm not a good person to be a moral barometer, but I can forgive someone, yet I don't forget.
IE, someone is supposed to meet me someplace and blows me off. I can forgive them, but the next time I make plans with them I'm wary as to if they are actually going to follow through.

I never forget and rarely forgive.
Yes, that's bad but it takes a lot for me to get to the point where I have to think if that person needs forgiving or not. By that time you have done enough stuff that forgiving is not usually an option.

Its 'ok' not to forget. Forgivness means the person no longer has a hold on you. If one feels the need for revenge. Forgiveness hasn't taken place. Remember the best thing is to 'let go'. Don't give someone space in your person who doesn't deserve the honor.

I have a saying I use frequently, "I rarely forgive and I NEVER forget". Period.

I can forgive...unless you are one of the many d*ckheads who have screwed me over. "Oh yes I want kids...(six months later, usually after encoutering Bou's threesome) did I say I wanted kids? NO, I don't want kids." bastards...
