Kirsten - Cool, good for you! Yeah, that's the thing about this particular deal - Congress is so far off its collective rocker that it goes well beyond knowledge of economics and into plain old common sense. The DUH factor is huge on this one!
I've heard that they have formulas where they consider each contact as representing X number of people (assuming that only 1 in X people will actually MAKE that contact, even though they feel that way), but I don't know what the actual numbers are. I would think Dave would have a pretty good idea, unless he said he's just guessing.
In any case, the more the better - I'd say call every day. I am!
I'm glad you're getting good information! I appreciate that you're using it!

Thought you'd like to know that I contacted our Senators and Representative. I admit that I got a C (my one and only) in college economics but my common sense radar is blaring. To think that we'll be mandated through taxation (isn't that what any goverment $ adds up to?) to bail out greed, stupidity, etc., etc. is infuriating.
I heard on the Dave Ramsey show that for every call or email they (Washington folk) count it as 200??
Thanks for all your informative blogs.
