I have one great contention with the whole edifice of this argument:
Where is your recognition of "Sola Scriptura" as the major doctrinal part of what happened in the Reformation times?

This undergirds all the other contentions: transubtantiation, the view of sacraments-everything.

It's coming. I can tell you that I don't like sola scriptura - heh, it's unbiblical - but have no problem with sola fide. I haven't blogged that part of the book yet.
