Not to put too fine a point on it, but Borders is an arrogant ignoramus. His blatant factual assertion of the nonexistence of the soul testifies to the first; his obvious incomprehension of the differences between money and currency underline the second.
Contractarian operations and Coase's Theorem are how we converge on our rights as protected legal prerogatives. Rights themselves must either be natural in origin, or pure creations of the mind. If the latter, why is it that all successful societies converge on the same set of rights: the Lockean rights to life, liberty and property?
