Thanks for reading Good luck with your new Mac.
I think it is strange that iWork doesn't include any kind of spreadsheet app as well. I am sure OpenOffice will work soon though for us.

Ahh, welcome, welcome. It's a wonderful world over here in Macdom.
I still use MS Office, though. You just can't beat Word and Excel.
Do you have one of the Intel Macs? Then I'm jealous. Did you get the two-button Mighty Mouse? If not, be sure to use a regular PC mouse -- most have drivers than can be installed to work on a Mac. Right-click and the scroll button are vital.
It took me two years to convince my wife that we should switch to Mac. In the three years since then she has thanked me about once a season ...

Hey Forester.
Itt was reading about people like you that pushed me to try it out. That, and really liking iTunes and wondering what it would be like to have a whole computer that was as nattily designed.
It is an Intel iMac, but at the moment I feel like I'm on the bleeding edge. Open Office does not yet support Intel Macs and neither does MS Media player (as far as I can tell). It seems like a lot of software for the new Macs is in need up updates.
Hopefully it won't be too long. Thank goodness for Firefox, which is still wonderful.
