Uh-oh. Now you''ve done it. You're going to start a flame war in your own blog over the PC vs Mac thing-a-me-bobber.
Um... yeah...
...
ONCE YOU GO MAC, YOU DON'T GO BACK!
(had to say it)

Those are great ads.
I regrettably switched to Windows some time before Steve Jobs returned to Apple. It was the right decision at the time, but I'll be thinking really hard about switching back once the Intel boxes come out.
From what I've seen, Mac OSX rocks. And Apple design is so far ahead of anything in the Windows world. I wish Apple luck with this campaign.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Mac. I have had a mac for years and it is wonderful. Every time I use windows it crashes. Maybe I am not smart enough for a PC, but my Mac suits me very well.

I have been a Mac user for about 10 years now. I used to be hardcore Windows and could use DOS like there was no tomorrow. But once I tried Mac, I knew I wanted one.
I just picked up a 2GHz Dual G5 a few months ago and am completely blown away with everything about it. Was thinking of getting a new iMac, but I really wanted a powerhouse machine. And nothing compares to the dual G5's.
And the new OS X just smokes, with its best feature having to be the new search function. Talk about light-years ahead of Windows. Just type in a word and instantly (rougly 1 second later) it will show you ever file that has that word in the title and every file that has that word somewhere inside the document.
Show me a Windows computer that can do that.
Every time I use my Windoze computer at work (like... er... right now) I fall into a funk because of how much it bogs down. I don't think I'll ever go back to choosing a Windows computer. Not so long as Mac keeps batting a 1,000 with its design and OS.

I have worked on all (i mean all) computer OS's, and I would have to say that Mac rules!
Be careful though, it is widely believed that only liberals use Macs, but this has been discredited several times.
Also, most Journalists use Macs...no bias there

I'm right with you on the new ads. Watched every one today as soon as I saw they were there. Cute, clever ... and they're even reasonable, considering they give a few nods to Windows (the spreadsheet line was cute).
Gotta love Apple.

P.S. Just came across this amazing confession:
"After spending hundreds of millions of dollars over the years to push MSN, they've now shifted things behind making the stupid Windows Live brand their flagship. It's stupid for so many reasons. Let me bullet point two major ones:
* Most people I know don't really like the Windows brand. Heck, I'm a Windows person, fairly anti-Mac, but Windows still represents crashes and glitches to me. And this is the label you want to attach to your online services?"

Thanks guys.
My Mac experience has been very positive so far. I want to know OS X as well as I know Windows after 10+ years and am coming to realize that this will just take time. I have seen enough to be impressed.

Curt: The beautiful thing about OS X is that you don't need to know very much about it, to be really effective as a user.
If you really want to get into it, learn UNIX, because basically at the core of OS X is Linux BSD.

Has anyone commented on the fact that the PC guy looks an awful lot like (a frumpified) Bill Gates?

I noticed that too. Not an accident, I'm sure. I read on another blog that the japanese girl representing a camera says in japanense as the ad fades out that the PC guys "looks like a nerd". Funny, if ture.
