We don't really do many big presentations at my residency - we stick to sit down rounds here. And I gotta say....I don't really miss it. This is exactly like something I would have done.

oh an entry after my own heart. my son will be 10 months old the 15th of this month. He was born with bilary atresia and had his liver transplant june 5th! He had it at Cincinatti Children's hospital. I am in love with that hospital and all the staff. We had the most amazing care. After my son was transferred there from our local smaller hospital it was like night and day in the difference of care. My one word of advice, always invite the parents out to listen to rounds. And ask if they have any comments/suggestions/questions and truly listen if they do. Cinci did this, and they really listened and took our comments to heart, it helped us feel a little sense of impowerment in a situation that feels totally helpless otherwise.
