While we don't have a lot of deciduous trees near where I live, fall is still my favorite season of the year. The change of aspect of the sun gives the morning a golden cast unlike any other time of year. The cooler nights, sweatshirts and shorts, traveling to the desert - all good things. Thanks for your perspective.

Completely true. I convince myself that summer is my favorite season of all. But then there are crisp mornings and sunlight filtered through gold leaves, and the dynamic change of everyday, and I think maybe I like fall best of all.

What a great picture and some lovely poetic sentiments today! I've thoroughly enjoyed both. Thank you.

I love how you described the trees. You have such a gift with words. Our trees are mostly naked these days, but I'm glad to hear fall isn't over everywhere. Enjoy those fiery trees. They'll leave you soon. Too soon.
