you would need more chairs if you had a longer bamboo/bakau for flagpole...so practicality of using the chairs goes down the drain after a certain point....would require more ingenuity and resourcefulness to overcome the problems then.

actually i kinda agree what k.shern said..time changes everything.although scouting in pfs is no longer the same in pfs but however the current scouts need to do something bout this.the chair thingy is messy and u all are just giving yourself reasons and excuses not to build a tripod or..etc.

nvm, you can go back as assl and fry their ass for that! :P anyhow, i would prefer that crappy flagpole over them being lazy and decide not to have a flagpole for TTO at all. when that time comes, we know scouting is dead since they do not feel passionate about scouting or the troop anymore.

erm, your correction seems to be the same as the previous comment leh...unless my eyes are playing tricks on me!

Hi Fellow Sea Scouters

I've been keeping in touch with all the notices put up wrgds to the flag pole saga... and I still think that... that of course on my personal opinion... we should talk and discuss with the present EXCO's and junior sea scouts if they need any advice from us. All of us have left PFS for some time now and i believe that there have been a lot of changes in the recent years. Who knows they are doin that for a reason? i mean the flagpole on the chair... give them a chance. and btw, for the present Sea Scouters... do feel free to approach any of us if you need anything... we will try our best. alvin_hoei@yahoo.com.sg
