well, don't just look things at just the surface. things are not always that simple.

i believe there's definitely more to this series than just that. surely this series is not just about painting the troop as a horrible place. anyway, i think it actually reflects the true scenario of what's happening. this might be a fictional series but i can see many parallels to the real world.

also, don't forget that he did run away from atc in the introduction! we are all here trying to understand why that actually happened right? let's be patient and see how this story turns out. only then maybe it would be fair for us to pass judgement. this is after all only episode 3 (4 if you count the introduction).

i for one am eager to know what experiences and 'obstacles' he will face next.
