Everyone absolutely needs a team of people to keep us on track. We all have a tendency to want to help too much and end up not focused on what we do best and what helps others the most. I have had a team for several years that "keep me on track". Sometimes they seem a bit brutal. But what you want is honesty and then remember to listen to them. Outside insight sometimes saves lots of pain.
My team:
Donna Layton
Richard Brundage
Jack Colwell
Tom Bennett
and I will add a new one Donna Karlin.

I also am finding myself thinking about what - and who - belongs in my sacred space. I was reminded recently that I've given way too much space to one negative concept for decades and am determined to turn my negative thinking into positive in this area.
I think that an important part of the work that we do as coaches is modeling for our clients. For me, this means constantly growing and constantly deepening my thinking - and learning when NOT to think. It's hard work and I love every minute of it.
Here are a few more people I think belong on this list. I'll forward them the original post.
Soni Pitts
Kerul Kassel
Lucia Murphy

Wow! I'll say it again Wow! You have impeccable timing. As I received your invitation I was working on goals for the next few weeks and even into next year. In the past I have had a tendency to spread myself too thin and over commit and become easily distracted. I was just outlining some boundaries I need to set and strengthen with myself.
A while back I wrote a mission statement based on on my 11 core values. This concise statement has helped me to set boundaries with myself and others for if something I am tempted to do does not fit with my mission statement, I choose not to do it.
You are right if we do not define ourselves the world will do it for us. So in choosing five people I choose people I know and respect who will help hold me accountable to this? Do I have it right? If so I choose:
Bruce Fane
Todd Shomo
Elizabeth Dalton
Brian Walker
