Comments for Perspectives

To me there are very few things more rewarding then seeing a person discover their inspiration and their own potential. People do want to feel validated, thanked, and appreciated by their employers and their peers alike. One of my current clients maintains an "old-school" perspective that he pays money and therefore employee must do, and that is the end of it. Praise is not something to be used freely, as it may create a big ego. The ironic part is that this actually is quite the opposite, not to mention the fact that this severly limits the leaders ability to influence and or recieve high performance from an uninspired employee who feels nothing but a lack of aknowledgement. Leaders are true to themselves, truthful with themselves, and live to inspire others!
Thanks for the posting!
