Comments for Perspectives

Gravatar Prem, I absolutely agree with you re Executive Coaches. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't work from the basis of "Do no harm". My clients do amazing work. I cannot in any way compromise some of the results they get because it could literally mean life or death, especially if they're working in world health initiatives. I do, however help them do it better, from a human based leadership perspective rather than power based. That shift alone enables a 'coaching culture' in the organization. But paramount is remembering it's not about me...it's about them.

Best, always
Donna

Gravatar Thanks for a very thought provoking post.

Likewise, I wonder if CEOs of the largest organizations- some of which have revenues exceeding that of entire nations- think about stewardship.

I am convinced executive coaches too must show a high degree of stewardship for those who they coach.

The Father of the Indian nation, Mahatma Gandhi once said: The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
