Prem, I absolutely agree with you re Executive Coaches. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't work from the basis of "Do no harm". My clients do amazing work. I cannot in any way compromise some of the results they get because it could literally mean life or death, especially if they're working in world health initiatives. I do, however help them do it better, from a human based leadership perspective rather than power based. That shift alone enables a 'coaching culture' in the organization. But paramount is remembering it's not about me...it's about them.

Thanks for a very thought provoking post.
Likewise, I wonder if CEOs of the largest organizations- some of which have revenues exceeding that of entire nations- think about stewardship.
I am convinced executive coaches too must show a high degree of stewardship for those who they coach.
