Yes, hope Boo's eye is getting better.
"BOO" was a nickname the children's pastor called my daughter Nyssa when she was three years old. One Halloween she wore a sweatshirt that I had cross-stitched kitties in pumpkins and the word "BOO" in the middle. From that day on he called her "BOO". Turns out his wife was an English teacher at the math and science high school and Nyssa had her for class. We were in a restaurant one day and I saw "Mr. Doug" and she saw her teacher. He said, "Look, it's BOO!" She said, "No, it's Nyssa!" Finally all the pieces fell together. Her teacher said, "So, you are this BOO he's talked about all these years."
So I don't have a cat named BOO, or a dog named BOO, but a daughter.
Speaking of cats, I have an audience of four right now. Have a great day kitties!

Always stressful going to the vet. I think the animals pick up the stressful vibes. I don't know how vets get through some of those experiences. I sure couldn't.
Sounds like the kitties used you as a "cat tree". I wonder sometimes if I shouldn't just wear carpeting. It would prevent some of the bleeding... those claws grow so fast.

I didn't have to take my cat to the vet to put her down, rather she lay down and died one morning. It was awful, though expected. We did take her to the vet to send her to be cremated. Now I have her cremains with me...I was at the vet's office once, when an elderly lady came in with her little dog, who apparently had distemper. He had a terrible cough. The lady behind the desk asked her if she wanted her to take her for her. All the lady could do was nod her head yes. I sat there and boo-hooed. it wasn't my dog, but that little old lady's faithful companion was going to leave her.
Glad Boo's going to be better.

What a wonderful piece to remind us all what's really important. Glad to hear that Boo's eye is getting better and that Alberto missed the house. -- Alberta, Sky, Blackie and Charlie

How true. Sometimes we need to witness how others are suffering to put our own problems into perspective. How sad for the families that were saying their last good byes. I know.. I have been in their shoes.
I hope Boo's eye is better. I know how worrisome it is when our furkids are not well.
