My Daddy calls me a "mean cat" becuz I always 'protect' my Momma. I always chase away any intruder so I can keep Momma safe. So sometimes as simply a means of protection I hafta growl at the oddur poodins in the house, and sometimes I hasta resort to pursuin' them and even sometimes I hasta put up my paws and give em a lil one two jab. Daddy says I am mean when I do dis. He doesn't udderstand, it is my job to protect Momma at all costs to myself. I is like the secret service to da Prez-i-dent. I would take a bullet for my Momma.

Max, our doggy does the the same thing. He gets between anyone who is in the yard and our mom. I just wonder if he would protect us that well too, or if we would simply be his next meal.
