Please note that Democrats actually have the edge on the Lincoln City Council 4-3, at least until Tuesday's election. Then, we'll see the damage of this unprecedented barrage of hateful attacks by the Republican Party and its associates.

Thanks for the correction on the makeup of the current Council. I assume you are correct, because I was uncertain when I wrote it. I did check the city's web site, but party affiliations are not mentioned. I could only remember the affiliation for 2 of the other 4 (my district and one other).

I can't speak to the ads against Marvin, but the ads against Werner certainly do describe the Terry Werner I have seen in action.
