Exactly how many people will pay attention to this? I'll wager maybe one or two. The north american population is getting stupider every year, and will swallow anything the left-wing media adn politicians dish out. With all the information available electronically, not many people seem to want to search things out for themselves. And if they do see the light, they are called right-wingers and deniers! Go figure. I guess they deserve what they get, but it screws everything up for the few remaining decent folks.
That is why I'm getting out of the vancouver area and moving to a small community. At least where I'm going, they are still somewhat "normal".
Although to be fair it sounds like a hardcore Democrat, Nancy Pelosi, just single-handedly prevented the disasterous "bailout" package from being enacted.
For all the left likes to talk about Bush's low approval ratings (currently 30%), the Democratic Congress is currently at 10%...
Dave - Actually.. they played parts of the video on Fox last night, so probably a lot of people seen it. As for Vancouver, don't blame ya. ... That city's been destroyed by so many extreme left councils, much like San Fransico. It will eventually collapse in on itself...
F & C - They wrongly assumed, as is very common on the left, that everyone would fall into line, but the American people put a stop to it before they ended up with a ... hurl ... "Bank of Canada" of their own.
Actually the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Canada don't perform a totally dissimilar function.
Rather, this would be the investment/banking version of Petro Canada. And along with the investment/insurance ownership of AIG would make the U.S. government only slightly less monetarily involved than Cuba's.
Prototypical. Let's ensure that we give MASSIVE loans to persons we're CERTAIN will NOT be able to meet their fiscal obligations -- then complain when that plan is revealed to the light of day and then, further, complain it's not the Demorats' fault.

When you get a chance check out the video at the top of my blog. Obama's got "Truth Squads" going on in Missouri - arresting people for not telling the truth about him! If we think we've still got freedom of speech down here, we're wrong. Who judges what is a lie and what is not? This is getting so damned dirty that it's driving me nuts! The Feds should stop this nonsense in Missouri, but it's still going on, and I still haven't heard anything about it in the media.

Gayle - sorry... its been an extremely busy time, and I have had very little time to even read blogs.... maybe someday soon I'll get back into it... My business has been going through a major transformation that requires just about all my attention....
Its amazing that we had this video evidence and yet the public still mainly blamed it on the very Republicans who tried to reform Fannie and Freddie.
