Good to know about other community gardens. They are always encouraging. There is a woman in NYC whose name I am not going to recall at the moment, who rebuilt a horrific rundown park in NYC and converted it into a place of real beauty.
It's featured in a documentary I saw recently. Sorry I can't be more specific.Hope you cross its path. I think it could possibly be a part of Central Park?

Seeing your photos made me feel happy somehow. So wonderful to see people taking a run down space and making it beautiful!

I drive by this garden during my commute and have always wanted to get in there and explore further. I'm glad to finally know the name of it!

It really is an inspiration, isn't it? We have a vacant space in my suburb of London, and I'd love to turn that into a community garden, but I suspect I can't devote the time and energy to it that it would need to get off the ground.
