I understand your anger and frustration .. A few days ago I found one of my pictures being used on "Webshots" .. I was so shocked I haven't investigated what the heck was going on .. but now I try to make sure all of my pictures have watermarks of some sort .. but I have posted so many on my blog without them .. there isn't a lot I can do about that now .. it makes you mad as hell doesn't it ?
I'm with you all the way on this one as my textile photos are always being stolen! So very annoying. But what sad people who can't produce stuff of their own! Val
It's so frustrating, and I'm sorry you both have to put up with it. I've thought about watermarking everything, but I use Picasa as my main storage for photos, so I think it'd be a bit fiddly anyway. And unless I put the watermark right across the photo some twerp will just cut out the watermark if they're really determined!
I shall have to go back and check if Qype have done anything about my complaint.
Did you hit the "offensive photo" button? That might get their attention if nothing else will! Sucks!
I have, twice! Second time I told them they would face further action if they did not remove the photo within seven days. They haven't even acknowledged my complaint.
