Gravatar great pictures. it feels good to see that the people around lebanon and especially in tripoli took to the streets and were peaceful in doing so. wallah ahla allam.
peace

Gravatar Mustapha,
Since you're from Tripoli, I was wondering what percentage of people from Tripoli do you think follow Karami?

Gravatar Nice pix. Its good to see a regeneration of free political life in Tripoli after more than 25 years of imposed stagnation.

Gravatar I am so happy to see the other side standing up for the government. I really hope that you can all reclaim downtown Beirut from the monsters of hizbulla. Please let it happen soon!

Gravatar Lebanesa,

I think his mother, wife and dog support him. No wait.. only his dog.

Gravatar Dear M,

whatever happened to that "general strike" called for by March 8 for today?

Did anything actually happen? Or was it called off? Wasn't there something about civil servants to not work & the airport to be shut down?

I can't find anything in the news.

Thanks in advance,

Gravatar Mustapha,
Who are the supporters of Hizb-Iran in Tripoli? Please list each faction, its alliance (with, against, neutral), and expected (guess) number of followers.
In Beirut (other than the Shia) are:
- Ahbash (almost disappeared but still there) with about 500-1000 followers
-Najah wakeem and his Nasseriate movement ( with about 2000
- Baath (where are they?) Handful in Beirut.
- National Syrian Party (I don't know their strength in Beirut.

Did I forget any group?

Gravatar The last picture is the best,

Gravatar ...At least in the photos provided here it appears that in Tripoli support of the current Lebanese government does not require many of the participants to carry belligerent placards against the opposition. On the other hand, displaying an effigy of an opposition figurehead is a bit on the pagan side of expression.

But there is a distinct difference in most democracies. Pictures of politicians are present on the streets of the U.S. during election periods but not on the streets thereafter. And, no one refers to any of our past government or military leaders as ‘martyrs.’ Why? Because
following a particular religious view is an individual freedom, not a government or military endeavor.

Gravatar Well lets say it was a really big demo in Tripoli.......
Ok so what??????????
It wasn't like even 5% of what was going on in Beyrouth..........
It showed the National Unity, you could see islamic women(wearing headscarves)and their kidds holding FL flaggs, singing anti Shiaa ,anti Nsarallah songs...........
As For the lebanese flaggs on the balcony......if it's a petition of how popular seniora and his allies are.And if all the balconies are showing their support to seniora......and all those balconies with no flags are anti sanioura and his allies.........then Sanioura and his allies are not that popular after all coz the balconies that doesn t hold flaggs are more numerous than the ones that hold flaggs........
And as for the peacefull demostration........it wasn't that peaceful after all.....for there was a fight between FL partisans and Future partisans........but of course they blamed that to an insurgent sent by karame to make problems.........
And finally about how popular karame is in tripoli......i think he s as popular as Nasrallah in tel aviv......he he he......and mustapha he doesn t even have a dog to support him..........and all his supporters that used to praise him, where participating in the tripoli demo...........off course Hariri's money is always more tempting than karame s greed........

Gravatar Mustapha,

"I think his mother, wife and dog support him. No wait.. only his dog."

And you think your website is not enriching a propaganda ?

Karami's family have given to lebanon definetly more than Fatfat, Jalool and Aljeser have all given.

But I guess such a reaction from your side ( as well as Fatfat's yesterday) only reflect the position that you've put yourself in , Abo staif..

Gravatar Wlak Ya Moustapha,
3an b3eed mbayneen "Orange" bi hal mouzahara chou sayyer ???

I had fun the other night at our gathering...it was nice meeting you

Good Luck ...hope to see you soon again... Stay safe and color blind...

Gravatar Mustapha, I hope you'll have extra 7lééwtijjibn for me while in Tripoli It's been 25 years and counting for this bugger!
Maybe I should check out 3raysé in Brooklyn to tide me over to the next 25

Gravatar It's good to see that Tripoli is regaining life in a way... Wish I was there!

Gravatar I love the last picture. kteer nej7a ma3ak!

Gravatar Disgusted by some of my fellow Triploi's who sang anti-shia songs: since when in lebanon did we have sunni and shia????: only when Suadi $$$$$$ comes into play

So Mustapha if your so 'democratic', how about condeming these stupid, dangerous chants (and the ones the shia sang as well, though in Tripoli it was really disgraceful and much more vocal)

No to sectarianism!!!!

Gravatar guess what...i am even more convinced now that the tripoli people are truely H7AMEER, they are in love with the hariri mafia....who bows only to saudi arabia, who in turn is slave to one master,MR.BUSH, who is the slave of ISRAEL!!!!
