Although I admire Micheal Young and often read his opinions and columns. I would like to point out that Sayyed Nasrallah has repeatedly said that the Weapons of the resistance are NOT Shiite weapons; But Lebanese weapons in the defence of Lebanese territory.
Now to take his word for it may be challenging. Taking into account that the Sayyed has always kept his word, and on the other hand, truly the resistance who hold the weapons and fight are 100% shiite.
As a Lebanese First and a Christian second, I wonder if it is all that bad to give them a share of their and our government. The tribunal has to pass, because this is a cause of right and justice, to Hariri as well as Tueni and P. Gemayel.
Lebanon's new presidency will help untangle the current crisis.

The credibility Nasrallah is irrelevant since, by definition, he and his party are beholden to a higher authority, the Iranian Faqih.
I fail to see how there is a compromise with them; better deal with their masters directly.

I'm not a fan of Syria and I have major issues with them, but the constant Lebanese whiney nature of blaming Syria and always demonizing Syria is getting rather old and annoying. Again, all the problems in Lebanon are caused by your OWN DAMN FAULT, not the Jews or the Syrians or the Americans, but your own people.
