Wlak ya Mustapha, how is this the fault of Hezbollah, other than the insinuation of Naharnet and accusation of Mr. Jumblat. Haret Hureik is not a small two blocks area. Every tom, dick and harry live there. Where was the exam administered? Haret Hureik was chosen for its close proximity. What's this about "sophisticated yada yada" reported. Its 2007. Cheating is a crime. In Lebanon it takes place in all forms. But when a political party of the size of a sect wants to cheat, they simply use their (loathful) sectarian quota. Okay that's enough for a comment. These are the foolish adventerous college exam cheaters:

I never heard of politics attached to exam cheating before.
It was no secret that Hezbollah had a "lock" on the Notary Publics exam, with guaranteed seats.
This is just a sign that M14 is finally going after its powers of patronage. But this is chump change; they should look at EDL, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health...

technically, this is intellectual dishonesty, considering that the only evidence for such conclusions is that the mastermind was in haret hreik (hey, the leader of another big party is also from there so why don't we blame them?).

Ah this story gave me a good laugh over the weekend. I think the good old boys in Haret Hreik watched the movie Old School and got some ideas.
I read on a seperate website (albeit not an unbiased source) that those involved had ties to Amal, Hizballah, and the FPM so I wouldn't throw the political affiliation story out the window just yet.

The news itself is not interesting; the fact that M14 has answered M8's propaganda war to the smallest details is a very welcome change; M14 was being slandered and libeled for such a long time without reply; some people thought it was because silence is a sign of weakness, not politeness.

well well and i thought lebanon was all honesty.ok im from india and guess what ? we dont neeed any wires or discreet methods out here folks. in a state called bihar, which incidentally is about 20 yrs behind in development from the rest of the country, our young men just dig a 12 in long knife on their tables and do whatever the hell they wat. from using their text books to mobile phones or the easiest way - copying from the best of their class.word to word.now where is the need for a political party?well there is actually.if an examiner feels 'disturbed' and calls the authorities, the politician duly lands up at the examination centre with his cohorts and gunmen in tow only to 'settle' the matter and allow the candidate to continue writing the exam without further 'disturbance'.cmon guys gimme a break for God's sake.
