Gravatar I can see your point mustapha, and maybe you are right. But what is totally unaccepable is Nasrallah's last speech was actually defending the four generals, and claming that "Lahoud" is a hero!

Not to mention his awful confession that he has made his own state with in the state of Liban!

I'm fraid we have just said a whole new face of HA. They have reached the point of no return, and the true intentions are being revealed, and I'm afraid they are good at all.....

Gravatar Just Divide the freaken Country

I think everybody will be happier this way.....

Because for some reason it seems to me that you guys hate each other more that you hate your enemies.

Gravatar Divide the country? Lebanon is smaller in population than the city of Los Angeles. By a lot. And I'm pretty sure it isn't much larger in area, for that matter. What would the country be divided into!? Autonomous neighborhoods?

Hmmm. Well, since Hezbollah is such good buddies with the Palestinians now, maybe the Palestinian state can be created in southern Lebanon. That'll be fun... for about a week.

Gravatar I know what you mean Craig,

But this is What Jumblatt and Jaja want. So, maybe it better this way. Let the sunni and shiia kill each other for the capital , the hell with them both.....

Gravatar very educating comments... tells you what type of people are reading this blog

Gravatar hey dadoo,

Very smart and educated people read this blog.

The fact that even the lowest of my political opponents do so too and comment angrily is rather indicative of my readership's variety don't you think ?

Gravatar Hey Mustapha,
I think we disagree a bit on the implications of Nasrallah last speech (or screech rather).

In either case I won't bore you with my inevitably lengthy analysis of the whole thing but I will say that the speech was a cover designed to hide his abandonment of Syria's veto demand in the upcoming expanded cabinet in a shroud of pompous and inflammatory remarks...

...for the rest, you know where to find me

Gravatar ba2 el ba7ssa as Jumblatt said ...
Defending the four officers and condemning the tribunal !!

As i always say, an innocent person hs no reason to fear or doubt a tribunal.

Gravatar Hey Mustapha,
No, I think NOT.
you refer to people of your own country as "sheep"!!? & then "smart and educated people" ... Not so much!!!

Gravatar I Refuse to split Our country!

I will live with my Muslim Brother, weather he likes it or not !

The divide in Lebanon is far from being sectarian. The current crisis isn't about the understanding of the Qor'an or the Hadith, neither is it an intellectual argument whether Jesus was a more profound 'prophet' than Mohammad (peace be upon them, both).

The crisis is purely political.
The Tribunal has nothing to do with any sects' belief. If you think the divide is sectarian; You've completely missed the point, and misread the situation the whole way.

True that our political ideologies are run a political politicians of various sects, and ignorantly believe that they will protect out sect. This is an uneducated belief that is unmatched.

True the readers of this blog come from all sorts of sects, and rightly it should . Diversity is the spice of life! We wouldn't know know Christians were if it weren't for Muslims, and vice-versa. We 'Need' each other, to know who we are. But foremost, we are Lebanese; and we are the envy of the Arab world.

And if you don't see that... look at it again
