Well it's About Time!

Great Idea! Keep it going. I'm sure it'll be wary for Lebanese at first, but if what most people want is not being said out loud; it should be done by any party. I dbeleive most of us are 'Sick' of all this soap opera news. Settle this, and lets move on!

It's still too early to judge the new movment.

But the poeple of March 11th should stop talking about generalities and start talking in specifics. It makes no sense to say that "I have no political interest, I only want to save Lebanon"; what is your agenda? What is your stand from the different controversial issues.

Once they clear that out, we can judge March 11th movement. Till then, and so we won't "put sticks in tires", we are waiting to see what they are going to do...

I agree with Failasoof. I have to say I'm not much of a fan of all these movements that have sprouted up calling for an end to the crisis and for compromise.

I mean sure, I want the crisis to end, but not at any cost, not if it means we have to sacrifice our sovereignty and security.

I don't mean to attack the March 11th movement, but I think we should really consider what 'compromise' entails, and what it is exactly that we are compromising on.

So yes, judgement (and support) are witheld until we start seeing some concrete positions.

march 8, march 11, march 14. why not july 21?? thats my birthday. i'm sure something important happened there, sometime in lebanon's history. all kidding aside, i agree that they do need to state where they stand and what they stand 4...ha!! get it?? 4!! ha-ha-ha. sorry, its late and i am way too tired.

So March 11 has no political goals, no substantial proposals to end the crisis, no ambitions? Then what the heck are they trying to achieve? It's all good to suggest that everybody holds hands and sings "we are the world" together, but until they can bring something to the table besides naive musings, the so called "movement" (if you can even call it that, it's more like a non-movement, laziness given form) is going nowhere.
