War; Still happening, and the USA is the most infrequent offender. Look at Africa, The Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We've had a Dem-controlled Senate and House, so where's the action on Darfur?
Poverty; Yep, the poor are still with us. With all the aid we've sent to various regions (like Africa), why are folks still starving?
Global Warming; The Earth has been frozen and reheated several times, so why the fuss now? Alaskans will be growing oranges in a century or so. Who says that it's all bad? Given the geological record, we're supposed to be getting ready for another ice age. Why not stave it off for a century or two?
Women's rights; Ok, we've had abortion for 35 years now, and women's wages are still not quite comparable to men's. Will it take another 40 million dead infants to establish that abortion won't equal the playing field better that education?
