I like your blog and read it often but I fail to understand the "travesty" here. Perhaps you can explain what is wrong...

I see now, to fully understand what you were saying I first had to know who Mrs Schori was (blush). She is the presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Got it. But you know, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery! I am sure Father would nod at her and say something like: "Well, at least your copying the RIGHT message"

I knicked this post (with attribution, of course) over to our group blog...

I was taking a day or two to get comments in before mentioning what about it was really telling... Will post that tonight.

Really my main thoughts on it are issues of depth and incarnational theology... Mamma Schori isn't wrong (except Joseph & Mary were NOT homeless)... what she writes is ok enough it just strikes me how very incomplete it is in contrast to what the Holy Father offers.
