Love the post as usual. I've been comfortable lurking here, but it seems today that just won't do. Though getting this comment up has been traumatic. Glad the problem is fixed.

I don't do a blogroll. First, there's the grease, as you mentioned. Then there's the politics. Do I have an excruciatingly long boring list, or do I freshen it periodically and piss off all my blogging buddies? So no blogroll.

If I did, you'd be on it, because everybody should be reading you.

You are so willing to stand out in the storm yelling truths no one wants to hear, you're brilliant, and you never cease to get me laughing.

On quotations: I do one every Wednesday. The key: never put the fellow's name in the title, unless the fellow is Pamela Anderson. (Hmm... \"Pamela Anderson on Customer Experience.\" Maybe next week...)

Weird rules I've learned: Satchel Paige draws. Oscar Levant, not so much. In spite of the fact that obscure writers/ humorists/ businesspeople sometimes say better stuff, a Steve Jobs quote will trump 'em every time.
