Something which it does show is that there is no limit to the amount of bollocks marketing organizations will try to dish out as "data" to try to prove a point.

Debra,
I'm assuming your point is that in referencing "man" but not "woman" some sort of sexist incident has occurred.
If so, so be it. I am fully fed up with having to write man/woman, him/her, she/he, hers/his. It is an affront to the language.
Instead, I sometimes use the masculine and sometimes use the feminine.
The whole his/her structure also completely sucks the air out of anything humorous.
I would rather try to write pleasing sentences and attempt to be entertaining than adhere to some sophomoric idea of political correctness.
