How come you didn't mention Penn's eruv?

I did.
It was edited out.
I also mentioned Rutgers.
A LOT was edited out.

Any chance you can publish the full article here?

I like your translations. Like eruv = merger. Perfect. Sounds simple, but most people tanslate eruv as "commingling" which is cumbersome and not as clear-cut as "merger". It reminds me of the way R. Aryeh Kaplan used to translate words. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a good translation is worth a thousand words of explanation.

Df - I do this for a living, you know.
By the way, I translated "tzurat ha-petach" as "shape of a doorway". Someone thought to change it to "door image". I like mine better.

Yeah, I know you do it for a living, but I thought it something to highlight. Some people translate mechanically, with no real feel for the language. Miktzas shvocho, etc.
By the way, nice to see you quoting Justice Scalia at the top of your blog, under the name.

Not sure that Justice Scalia would agree with that idea. He believes pretty adamantly that _NOT_ everything is in the Constitution.
