Spontaneous Arising
The MSM and much of the alternative press just doesn't get it. I, of course speak as a white man, one certainly not qualified to speak for blacks. But I have lived long enough within the African American community (ies) to have experienced and participated in the dynamics of community life. And I find it very hard to deal with the arrogant ignorance of our dominant society in which the Jeremiah Wrights are dismissed and demonized without ever having understood their great contributions to us all.
I didn't see/hear anything heinous coming out of his speeches personally. I don't agree with his PoV on HIV/AIDS, but that doesn't mean he's a demon. Heck, I don't agree with ALL things with my closest friends so not sure why MSM is painting it out like most people do.
I do think the way he answered some of the questions at the press conference came across snarky vs his Moyers interview, which interfered with his actual answers and peoples' perceptions imho.
