I worked in a labratory when I was in my twenties. The pathologist was also the county investigator for suspecious deaths. Once he recieved a mumified body. He was able to get fingerprints by injecting saline under the finger pad and do a print and identify the person. It is amazing how people can identify even a skull without flesh but taking that skull to an artist. The artist can place muscles over the bones and formulate a face. Forensic nursing is very interesting.
